Amy's Visit

I just don't have the drive to write a whole bunch right now. But here are some pictures.

First of all, Josie surrounded by her "cute little nieces and nephews" at the Salt Lake City Airport on Sunday afternoon.

The heights of all five are in reverse order by age, with the youngest the tallest and the oldest the shortest. Back is Andrew (age 15), Matthew (age 16); front Amy (age 21), Josie (still 20 when the picture was taken, but 21 two days later), Rosie (18).

So, now we know that Josie will have at least one niece or nephew who is shorter than her as an adult!  There are, of course, some who still have some growing to do, but we know that three of the children in this picture and Abra's three children will all be taller than Josie, don't we?

We went to see Grandma on our way home.  Kelli introduced her to Amy and then asked her if she knew who the other kids were. "No, " she said, "I don't remember who is who." Then she looked right at Rosie and said, "I know who you are! You're Grumpy!"  And we all started laughing--even Grandma laughed. Kelli said, "Grandma, that is Rosie. And the boys are Matthew and Andrew."

"Really?" said Grandma. "I would never have realized that! They have grown so tall!"

Then Kelli pointed at Josie and said, "Do you know who she is?"

Grandma looked hard at Josie and said, "Yes, I do. She is......one of your sisters."

"That's right," Kelli said, "She IS one of my sisters: my sister Josie."

 Sorry for the terrible lighting.  Someone took a nice picture of Grandma with Kelli and her kids, but I don't know who took the picture. This is the best of the several that I took, and let's be honest, it is not very good!

Today, Josie and I went with Amy to the Art Museum, then Amy and I went to the Bean Museum while Josie went to class, and then we picked up Josie and we three went to the Aquarium.Everywhere we went there were all of these kids! I was wondering why--Spring Break!

We all loved the aquarium. I will have to take Dad there (on a day when it is not quite so crowded and noisy). It was a very pleasant way to pass the afternoon together.  Amy and Josie both took lots of pictures of various flora and fauna. I took only pictures of 21 year old girls.
