When we all got together in June, we thought it would be fun to recreate Colleen and her Bridesmaids, since we were all together for the first time ever since Colleen and LeRon's wedding--the three of us sisters plus Ellen Redd, LeRon's cousin and Colleen's friend who was also in her wedding party.

I had a feeling something was off about the order, because when Colleen talked about shades of blue, I knew that Arlene's dress was light blue, and that mine was almost a green--a dark and greeny blue. But we all thought somehow that Ellen was standing by Colleen. Well, we remembered that wrong because the evidence shows:

Still--we ALMOST nailed it! I just loved our bridesmaid dresses. I wore mine for years, and then when I was tired of it as a long dress, I shortened both the hem and the sleeves, and then wore it that way some more! It was fun to stand together the first time around, and fun to recreate the memory, even if our memories were clearly not perfect!
(Our mother hired Fern Christensen, a lady in our ward, to make the dresses. My only time ever having to go somewhere for fittings!)
